WBCHSE Releases HS Semester III Answer Key for 2025-26 Exams

The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has officially released the answer key for the Higher Secondary (HS) Semester III examinations for the academic year 2025-26. Students who appeared for the exam held on 3 September can now visit the official website of WBCHSE to check and download the answer key.

As stated in the official notice, the answer key has been published to help students cross-check their responses and confirm the accuracy of the marks they received earlier. The council reminded students that their school-issued “Statement of Marks” has already been distributed through their respective institutions, and they can use the answer key to verify whether the marks given to them are correct.

The notice clearly mentions, “The interested candidates of Semester-III Higher Secondary Examination, 2026 may go through the answer keys and check their marks reflected on the ‘Statement of Marks’ already issued to them through their institutions.” WBCHSE has asked all students to check the answer key properly and inform their school or the council if they find any mistake within the given time.

Step 3: Now, click on the link to open the answer key page.
Step 4: Select your subject or exam paper from the list.
Step 5: The answer key will open in a PDF format.
Step 6: Download the PDF and compare the answers with your own responses.
Step 7: Match the answers with the marks shown on your Statement of Marks issued by your school.

WB Class 12 Semester 3 Results 2025 Performance 

The West Bengal Board released the Class 12 Semester 3 results on 31 October 2025, highlighting strong performance by students in all three streams. According to the official report, Aditya Narayan Jana and Pritam Pallav secured the top position together with a score of 98.97%, while 69 students found a place in the top-10 merit list

This year, 6,45,832 students passed out of 6,60,260 candidates who appeared for the exam, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 93.72%. Among the streams, Science recorded the highest pass percentage at 98.8%, followed by Commerce at 94.19%, and Arts at 92.54%, reflecting steady and consistent performance across the board.
