Uttar Pradesh Public Services Commission (UPSSC) has officially announced UPPSC PCS prelims results 2026 for the PCS and ACF, and RFO examinations. This result marks an important milestone for thousands of aspirants preparing for state civil services. According to the commission, more than 11,000 students have successfully cleared the preliminary examination and are now eligible to appear for the main round.
This year, the participation level remained very high. Out of 626387 candidates who applied for the exam notified on 20th February 2025, a total of 265270 students actually appeared for the prelims conducted on 12th October 2025. This examination has strong competition, reflecting the popularity of the UPPSC
UPPSC has expanded the total vacancies from 200 to 920, giving students a much bigger opportunity. The revised vacancy list includes 814 posts under provincial civil services (PCS) and 106 posts for assistant conservator of forest (ACF) and regional forest officer (RFO) positions. This expansion has been welcomed by students as it improves the overall chances of selection.
The commission has also informed that individual marks, Cutoff scores, and category-wise details will not be released at this stage. As per the UPPSC procedure, this information will only be made available after the final results are declared. This practice will be used to maintain fairness and transparency throughout the recruitment process.
Candidates who appeared in the exam can now check their results on the official UPPSC website. The results have been released in the form of a PDF file containing the roll numbers of all candidates who have qualified for the main examination.
