The Council of Higher Secondary Education (COHSE), Manipur, has announced the timetable for the 2026 board exams for Classes 11 and 12. As per the schedule, Class 11 exams will start on 16 February 2026, while Class 12 exams will begin on 17 February 2026. The practical exams for Class 12 will be held from 2 to 31 January 2026. Schools that have fewer than 10 students will be linked with nearby institutions as directed by the council.
Once the practical exams are completed, schools must upload the practical marks on the council’s official website, @cohsemanipur.nic.in, using their login details. The marks can be uploaded from 3 January to 2 February, and the final deadline for submission is 3 February 2026.
The Manipur Higher Secondary Education (HSE) Board has announced that the Class 12 exams for 2026 will be held in one shift, from 10 AM to 1 PM. Last year, the HSE exams began on 21 February with the English paper and ended on 23 March, 2024, with elective language subjects such as Bengali, Hindi, English and Manipuri. Apart from these dates, exams were also held on 27 February and 1, 4, 7, 9, 12, 14, 16, 19, 21 and 22 March.
Looking back at 2023, the Class 12 board exams started on 23 February and continued till 1 April 2023. The written exams were also conducted from 10 AM to 1 PM, while the practical exams took place between April 1 and April 20.

COHSE Manipur Board 2026: Exam Day Instructions
The Council of Higher Secondary Education, Manipur (COHSEM) has released a set of important exam day guidelines for students appearing in the Class 12 board exams 2026. These instructions are given to make sure the exams run smoothly and fairly at all centres in the state.
Students must reach the exam centre at least 30 minutes before the reporting time. Entry will not be allowed once the exam begins. Candidates should carry their admit card, school ID and necessary stationery items, as borrowing inside the hall is strictly prohibited.
Electronic gadgets such as mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, or any digital device are not allowed. Students must also avoid carrying notes, written material or any unfair means. The board has asked students to check their seat numbers and room allotment displayed at the centre to avoid confusion. They must follow all instructions given by the invigilators and maintain silence inside the exam hall.
The question paper will be distributed 15 minutes before the start time so students can read it carefully. Writing should begin only when permitted. Students must also write their roll number correctly on the answer sheet and ensure all pages are properly tied before submission.
