CLAT 2026 Result Date NLUs to announce law entrance results on Decemeber 17, 2025

Consortium of National Law Universities will announce the results of the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2026 on 17th December 2025. It is expected that results will be released before 10:00 AM on the official website. Once the results are declared, students will be able to check and download their results from the official website @https://consortiumofnlus.ac.in/ 

CLAT 2026 examination was conducted on 7th December 2025 for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate law programs offered by national law universities and other participating universities across India. CLAT is one of the most important national-level entrance exams that determines admission to prestigious law colleges in the country.  This year, CLAT 2026 saw a high level of participation.

More than 92,000 candidates registered for the examination, out of which 99657 candidates appeared. This resulted in an attendance rate of nearly 96%. Among the appearing candidates, 75009 students took the undergraduate test while 17335 students appeared for the postgraduate examination. 

How to check the CLAT 2026 Results?

Students can follow the simple steps given below to check and download their CLAT 2026 results:

  • Step 1: Candidates need to visit the official website at @https://consortiumofnlus.ac.in/ 
  • Step 2: Click on the CLAT 2026 Results links available on the homepage. 
  • Step 3: Enter your registered mobile number and passwords. 
  • Step 4: Submit the login details. 
  • Step 5: CLAT 2026 results will appear on the screen.
  • Step 6: Download and save the scorecard for future use. 

CLAT 2026 scorecard will contain important details such as the candidate’s name, roll number, application number, marks obtained, overall rank, and category rank. Candidates are advised to carefully check all the information mentioned on the scorecard. 

Counselling Process After Results 

After the declaration of results, the consortium of NLUs will begin the centralised counselling process for CLAT 2026. Candidates who qualify for the exam will need to register online for counselling. During the counselling process, candidates must fill out their preferences for NLUs and law programs. 

The counselling will be conducted in multiple rounds, and seat allotment results will be released round-wise. Cutoff marks vary depending on the university, course, category, and availability of seats. Once a seat is allotted, candidates must complete document verifications and pay the admission fee within the given deadline to confirm their admission. Candidates are advised to regularly visit the official website for updates related to results, counselling schedule, and further admission procedure.
