BHU Launches 121 SWAYAM Courses for Jan-Apr 2026 Session

BHU launches 121 credit INI-Swayam (INI-Institute of National Importance) courses for the January and April 2026 sessions. Interested candidates can start the registration process from January 28, 2026 on the official website of the Swayam portal https://swayam.gov.in/. According to the official statement, three universities have joined forces with Swayam to provide students with a wide range of skills and prepare them for the future.

Interested candidates can enroll to the 121 courses which are offered in multiple domains and from them, 71 courses are in science, engineering, management, humanities, social science, medicine, education and law. These courses are going to be offered by BHU University as interdisciplinary courses. The University stated that these courses are going to be provided in learner centric method, which includes weekly analysis, practical learning to support students.

Besides this, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) is going to launch 48 courses from Arabic to zoology from 26th January 2026. Candidates who want to build their career in defence or forensic accounting can go for defence and strategic studies or forensic accounting courses that are offered by the Rashtria Raksha University. 

Along with 121 courses, BHU is also collaborating with the SEPT Competence sector at the University of Leipzig, Germany to provide two academic courses in digital marketing and branding. Candidates can continue these courses in bilingual English and Hindi and the programme focused areas are customar discovery, growth strategies, digital product fundamentals, compliance, media-mix and more. It is going to be the best course for first-time founders or start-ups.

BHU Swayam courses’ duration is four, eight or 12 weeks depend on the programme. Interested individuals must visit the Swayam portal before the last date to get admission to their desired course in the 2026 session. The are limit for the courses and the application portal will start from 26th January 2026.
