The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) 2026 registration process has begun from 10 January 2026. Students who want to appear for the exam for admission to undergraduate courses in engineering, pharmacy, and other professional programs in Maharashtra can now apply online. The last date to submit the online application form is 12 February 2026.
Candidates must complete their registration on the official website, cetcell.mahacet.org. To apply, students should have their Aadhaar number, APAAR ID, and necessary documents such as Class 10 and Class 12 certificates. The application fee must be paid online,e and all details entered should match official records. Only fully completed application forms will be accepted.
How to Register for MH CET 2026?
- Step 1: Visit the official website of the State CET Cell Maharashtra at https://cetcell.mahacet.org/search-institute/.
- Step 2: Click on the link for MHT CET 2026 registration.
- Step 3: Create a new account by entering basic details such as name, mobile number and email ID.
- Step 4: Log in using the credentials sent to your registered email or mobile number.
- Step 5: Fill in the MHT CET application form with personal, academic and contact details.
- Step 6: Upload the required documents, including photograph, signature and educational certificates, in the prescribed format.
- Step 7: Enter Aadhaar number and APAAR ID as required.
- Step 8: Pay the application fee online using debit card, credit card, net banking or UPI.
- Step 9: Review all the details carefully and submit the application form.
- Step 10: Download and print the confirmation page and payment receipt for future reference.
MH CET 2026 Eligibility & Application Fee
The application fee for MHT CET 2026 must be paid online at the time of registration through debit card, credit card, net banking or UPI. As per the State CET Cell guidelines, the fee is different for candidates from the general category and the reserved categories. Only those applications in which the fee payment is completed will be accepted.
Regarding eligibility, candidates must have passed or be appearing in Class 12 with the required subjects as prescribed for engineering, pharmacy or other professional courses. Applicants are advised to carefully check the eligibility conditions before applying, as incomplete or ineligible applications will not be considered for the examination.

MH CET 2026 Exam Date
The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) 2026 is scheduled to be held in two separate sessions for PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) and PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) groups. For the PCM group, the first session will take place from 11 to 19 April 2026, while the second session is scheduled from 14 to 17 May 2026.
For the PCB group, the first session will be conducted from 21 to 26 April 2026, and the second session from 10 to 11 May 2026. Candidates can appear in either or both sessions depending on their course requirements. The exam will be conducted online, and students are advised to check the official website for detailed timings and updates.
