Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad held the 1st cluster of PGP final placement for the 2026 session. The top-ranked sectors in the placement drive were investment banking and markets, management consulting, transformation and operations, financial advisory, private equity and venture capitals as well as asset management and others.
IIM Ahmedabad has organised the placement drive in hybrid mode means some companies join in either online or physical mode. 47 firms have joined the event and the most prominent recruiters were Alvarez & Marsal, Kearney, McKinsey & Company and Bain & Company. According to the data, Boston Consulting Group was the largest recruiter among others. They offered 33 placements in management consulting.
In the Transformation and Consulting short, the top recruiters were Accenture Strategy, EY-Parthenon, and Deloitte USI with 12 offers. Goldman Sachs offered 6 placements in the Investment Banking and Market Department as the highest recruiter. American Express was the promising recruiter in the cards and financial advisory chort and it offered 15 placements to the IIM Ahmedabad students.
The institute orgranised placement drive in a cluster-based process where the event occurred for various chorts on decided days. The beginning of the placement starts from February 4, 2026 and the second chort will be held on 6th February. The placement for the 3rd cluster will be conducted on 9th February 2026 and it will be a go on after the 3rd cluster if needed.
410 students from the PGP (Post-graduate Programme in Management) course were placed in the IIM Ahmedabad cluster-1. We saw 100% placement in the 2025 session with 1.1 CPA, which was the highest salary package in the reputed companies. Consulting was a booming industry and it is likely to remain the same this year too. As you can see, the IIM Ahmedabad PGP is an in-demand course among graduates as well as in the job market.
