Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026 was the 9th edition in the series, as you know, it is hosted by the Indian Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi. The event was conducted on 6th February 2026 at 10:00 to celebrate the exams Utsav as an integral part of life. The programme was telecast on YouTube channels, Doordarshan (DD News), and other platforms. The Prime Minister conducts this session each year before the board examination to guide and motivate school students.
For the first time, PPC 2026 was organised in 4 different states besides Delhi, and they are Tamil Nadu, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, and Assam. Around 4.50 crore students, parents, and teachers were registered this year for the 9th edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026. The Prime Minister has written a book for teenagers, teachers and parents with the title of ‘Exam Wriors’ in which he shares his thoughts on dealing with exam stress and maintaining self-belief. The Book is available in multiple languages along with Braille.

In the live telecast of Priksha Pe Charcha 2026, the Prime Minister guided students on exam preparation, stress management and other challenges to move ahead in life with a positive attitude. Shri Narendra Modi also talked about the responsible use of AI (Artificial Intelligence). He described that AI is a powerful tool for this generation, yet we need to learn to use it in our favour and not against us with smart moves and strategies.
The main focus of the conversation was based on balanced use of technology and cherishing the hard work at the same time. Nowadays, students are using AI for assessments, research and exam preparations. Therefore, He want to guide students to stay on the right path and use AI in a balanced manner in academic life. He said that you ask AI for reading recommendations according to your interests. That’s how you can use artificial intelligence in your favour.
PM encourages students to dream big by saying that “Not having a dream is a crime-always have a dream and work towards it”. He guides students to come out of their comfort zone, write down their dream privately and start working on it. The PM suggest biographies to the students to inspire them. He also advised students to follow their dreams, considering suggestions of their teachers and parents as well.
He also added, “Life is not just about exams” education should be used as a medium to improve. Students should find a way to learn that suits them and a good teacher helps in the holistic development of their children. During the converstation a student asked Whether Skills or Marks are important? PM replied that Balance is the key, A students should focus on balancing studies, hobbies, and skills together. This will make your life easier and happier in the long run.
