The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has announced an extension of the registration deadline for the AP EAMCET 2026 examination. Candidates aspiring to secure admission into engineering, agriculture, and pharmacy programmes can now complete their application process until 17 March 2026.

The decision to extend the deadline has been taken to provide relief to applicants who experienced delays due to documentation concerns or technical difficulties during the registration process. Officials have urged candidates not to wait until the final day and to submit their forms in advance to prevent last-minute complications.

The AP EAMCET 2026 examination is scheduled to be conducted in May, while the admit cards are expected to be issued in April. Applicants are advised to regularly check the official website for further updates and important notifications related to the examination.

The registration window for AP EAMCET 2026 was initially set to close earlier in March. However, following the recent extension, applicants have been granted extra time to complete and submit their online application forms.

Candidates are advised to enter all required information carefully and upload the necessary documents in the prescribed format. APSCHE has also notified that applications submitted after 17 March will be accepted only with the payment of a late fee, as per the revised schedule.

AP EAMCET 2026: How to Apply?

Step 2: Pay the prescribed application fee online using available payment options.

Step 3: Fill in the online application form with accurate personal and academic details.

Step 4: Upload your recent photograph and signature in the specified format and size.

Step 5: Review the completed form thoroughly and then submit it online.

Step 6: Download and save the confirmation page for future admission reference.

Exam Pattern of AP EAMCET 2026

The AP EAMCET 2026 examination will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode, allowing candidates to attempt the paper online at designated examination centres. The entrance test is designed to assess students’ knowledge in core subjects relevant to their chosen stream.

As per the prescribed pattern, the exam will have a duration of 3 hours. The question paper will consist of 160 multiple-choice questions. For the Engineering stream, the paper includes 80 questions from Mathematics, 40 from Physics and 40 from Chemistry. For Agriculture and Pharmacy streams, the distribution generally covers Biology, Physics and Chemistry in similar proportions.

Each correct answer carries one mark, and there is no negative marking for incorrect responses. Candidates are advised to familiarise themselves with the exam structure to plan their preparation strategy effectively.

Previous Year Statistics: AP EAMCET

As per official figures released for the AP EAMCET 2025 examination, a total of 362448 candidates registered for the state-level entrance test. Out of these, nearly 340300 students appeared for the examination conducted across the Engineering, Agriculture, and Pharmacy streams.

The results reflected a strong overall performance, with approximately 257500 candidates qualifying, taking the overall pass percentage to around 75-76 per cent. In the Engineering stream, close to 1.89 lakh candidates successfully cleared the examination. Meanwhile, in the Agriculture and Pharmacy streams, nearly 67761 students qualified, indicating steady competition and consistent performance in these categories.
