According to official updates, the ICAI began the application process for CA Foundation, Intermediate, and Final exams on 3rd March 2026. The last date to submit the application form without a late fee was 16th March 2026. However, students who could not apply by then still have a chance to register by paying a late fee until 19th March 2026.
This extension ensures that no eligible candidate misses the opportunity to appear in the May session due to deadline constraints.
Late Fee Details
Candidates applying after the normal deadline are required to pay a late fee along with the examination fee. For Indian students, the late fee is approximately INR 600, while for overseas candidates, it is around $10.
Students are advised to complete the process before the final deadline, as no further extension is usually provided by the institute.

Candidates must fill out the CA May 2026 exam form online through the official ICAI SSP portal. The process includes:

ICAI has also provided a correction window for candidates who wish to make changes to their submitted forms. The correction facility will be available from 20th March to 22nd March 2026.
During this period, students can modify details such as exam centre and medium of examination.
Examination Schedule Overview
The CA May 2026 examinations are expected to be conducted in May 2026 across multiple levels Foundation, Intermediate, and Final. The exams will be held on different dates for each group and level, allowing students to appear as per their course structure.
Admit cards are likely to be released approximately two weeks before the exam.
