The Andhra Pradesh school education department has officially declared the results of the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (AP TET) 2025. Candidates who appeared for this state-level eligibility examination can now check their final marks and download the marks memo from the official website. To access the results, candidates need to log in using their registered username and password.
According to the department, the AP TET 2025 marks memo has been prepared after following a normalisation process. This method was adopted because the examination was conducted in multiple shifts and the question papers had different difficulty levels. The normalisation process ensures fairness and uniformity in evaluation so that no candidate is disadvantaged due to the variation in question papers.
How To Check AP TET 2025 Results
Candidates can check and download their AP TET2025 marks memo by following a simple online process. First, they need to visit the official website, where the login page opens automatically. After entering their username and password, candidates must click on the results option.
A verification step is required where candidates have to enter their candidate ID, date of birth, and the verification code sent to their registered mobile number or email address. Once logged in, candidates can view their results, download the scorecard, and take a printout for future use.
Pass Percentage and Performance Statistics.
This year, AP TET 2025 witnessed a low pass percentage compared to previous years. Out of approximately 2.48 lakh candidates who appeared for the examination, only 39.3 per cent managed to qualify. This is the lowest pass percentage recorded in AP TET examinations conducted since 2018.
Among in-service teachers, a total of 31,886 candidates appeared for the exam. Out of them, 15,239 candidates qualified, resulting in a pass percentage of 47.82 per cent within this category. The results will continue to remain available on the official portal, allowing candidates to check them anytime.
Qualifying Marks for AP TET 2025
The School Education Department has reiterated the minimum qualifying marks required to clear the AP TET 2025 examination. Candidates from the General category must secure at least 60 per cent marks to qualify. For Backward Class (BC) candidates, the minimum qualifying percentage is 50 per cent. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), the Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) categories are required to obtain at least 40 per cent marks. These qualifying marks are applicable after the normalisation of scores.
Importance of AP TET Certificate
AP TET certificate is mandatory for candidates who wish to apply for teaching positions in government and aided schools across Andhra Pradesh. Without qualifying for the AP TET examination and obtaining the eligibility certificate, candidates will not be considered eligible for teacher recruitment in the state.
