Bihar STET (Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test) result 2025 is expected to be out in the second week of the Decemebr month of 2025. Millions of applicants are anxiously awaiting the results, looking forward to the future with hope and inspiration. 4 Lakh candidates appeared for the Bihar STET exam which was conducted from 14th October to 31st October 2025 in CBT (Computer-Based Test) mode.

The exam is based on two papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2. Candidates who want to build their career as a secondary teacher will give paper 1 exam and for higher education teacher gave paper 2 exam in 2025. Bihar STET exam is required to qualify to be eligible to apply for the BPSC Teacher Recruitment Exam or other government teacher vacancies.

Bihar STET 2025: Passing Criteria

This is a category-wise passing criteria that was required for the candidates to score to qualified the STET exam. 

  • UR Category: 50%
  • OBC: 42.5%
  • BC: 45.5%
  • SC/ST/PwD: 40%
  • Women Candidates: 40%

Bihar STET Age Limit and Education Qualification

The age limit to attempt the Bihar STET exam is different for different categories in India. The age limit for the general category is 37 years, and 3 years of relaxation is given to the women, BC and MBC candidates. PwD candidates are eligible for ten years of age relaxation, while SC and ST applicants have been granted five years by BSEB.

Bihar STET educational qualifications are unlikely for both papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2. Students who have a graduation degree in a relevant subject plus B.ed with 50% marks are eligible to apply for Paper 1. For Paper 2, candidates must have a master’s degree in an equivalent subject with a BA-BEd or B.ed/BSc-BEd degree.
