Indian Institutes of Management (IIM) have released the CAT 2025 admit card on 12th November 2025. Candidates who have successfully registered for the Common Admission Test can now download their admit cards from the official website by entering their login ID and password. The CAT 2025 exam is scheduled to be held on 30th November 2025 in 3 sessions in different exam centres in India.
According to the official notice issued by the IIMs, admit cards for 2.95 lakh eligible candidates have been generated and can be downloaded only from the CAT website using the CAT application login ID and password between 12 November and 30 November 2025. Candidates are advised to download the admit card early and check all details such as name, photograph, signature, test date, time, and venue to avoid any last-minute problems.
To help students prepare better, IIMs have also released a mock test on the CAT website on 12th November 2025. This mock test includes sample questions and allows candidates to understand the test format, question types, and the online interface used in the actual examination. It will help them get familiar with the structure and manage their time effectively during the exam.
How to Download the CAT 2025 Admit Card?
- Step 1: Visit the official website https://iimcat.ac.in/
- Step 2: Click on the registered candidates’ login or admit card link.
- Step 3: Enter user ID and password.
- Step 4: Download the admit card and take a printout for exam use.
Important Instructions for CAT 2025
- Download the admit card early and check all details carefully.
- Carry a printed admit card and a valid photo ID to the exam centre.
- Reach the centre at least one hour before the reporting time.
- Do not bring electronic gadgets, books, or stationery inside the exam hall.
- Follow all instructions given by the invigilators.
- Take the official mock test to understand the exam format.
- Providing false information or violating rules may lead to disqualification.
- Authorities may change or cancel exam centres if necessary.
Each IIM conducts its own admission process based on factors like academic performance, work experience, CAT score, and interview rounds. The list of non-IIM institutions that will accept CAT 2025 scores will also be available on the official website after the exam.
CAT 2025 result is expected to be declared by the first week of January 2026, and candidates can download their scorecards online. The CAT score will remain valid till 31st December 2026.
