The Central Board of Secondary Education has revised the exam for classes 10th and 12th, which is expected to be held on March 3, 2026. CBSE issued a guideline related to this information and stated that these changes have been made due to some administrative reasons. The revised date for the 10th and 12th is given here to see.

All examinations remain unchanged, and it is advised that all schools and teacher to share this information with the students and parents. Students can download the new date sheet from the official website of the CBSE https://www.cbse.gov.in/.
The exams are scheduled on 17th February 2026 for classes 10th and 12th. The examination for class 10th is going to end on 18th March 2026, and for class 12th on 10th April 2026. Students should take the revised admit card to the exam center to get entry without any interruption. All the exams will be conducted in a single shift at 10:30 AM. Around 45 lakh candidates are going to appear for the class 10th and 12th board exams.
Class 10th exams are scheduled to be organised in 2 shifts from 17th February to 6th March and May 15th to 1st June 2026. The 1st phase is mandatory for all the candidates, and 2nd phase is scheduled for candidates who want to improve their scores from the first phase. According to the present guideline, the result is going to be declared in April for the 1st phase, while the result for the 2nd phase will be released in June 2026.
