The National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the online application process for the Common University Entrance Test for Postgraduate (CUET-PG) 2026. Students who are appearing in their final year of undergraduate studies and wish to take admission to postgraduate programs can apply for this national-level entrance exam. Eligible candidates can complete the registration process by visiting the official CUET-PG website.
As per the official notification released by NTA, the last date to submit the CUET-PG 2026 application form is 14 January. After the registration period ends, NTA will provide a correction window from 18 to 20 January 2026, during which applicants can make changes or correct details in their submitted forms. Candidates are advised to carefully check all information before final submission to avoid errors.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has informed that the CUET PG 2026 examination is scheduled to be held in the month of March, while the detailed subject-wise exam dates will be released at a later stage. The entrance test will be conducted for 157 subjects, and admissions to postgraduate courses in participating universities will be granted based on CUET PG scores. The examination will take place across 292 cities, including 16 international test centres outside India.
Looking at previous trends, the CUET PG exam has seen strong participation. In the last cycle, over six lakh candidates registered for the test, and 523032 students appeared for CUET-PG 2025, resulting in an attendance rate of nearly 80 percent. This highlights the growing importance of CUET PG as a key gateway for postgraduate admissions across the country.

How to Apply for CUET PG 2026?
- Step 1: Go to the CUET-PG official portal released by NTA.
- Step 2: Click on “New Registration” and read the instructions carefully before proceeding.
- Step 3: Enter personal details such as name, date of birth, mobile number and email ID. Create a password and note down the application number.
- Step 4: Use the application number and password to log in.
- Step 5: Fill in academic details, postgraduate course preferences and exam city choices.
- Step 6: Upload scanned copies of the photograph, signature, and other required documents in the prescribed format.
- Step 7: Pay the fee online using debit card, credit card, net banking or UPI.
- Step 8: Review all details carefully and submit the application form.
- Step 9: After submission, download and save the confirmation page for future reference.
Important Instructions
- Applications for CUET (PG) 2026 will be accepted only through the online mode. Any application submitted through offline or other methods will not be considered.
- Candidates are required to carefully go through the Information Bulletin available on the NTA official website, which includes detailed instructions on how to fill out the online application form. Failure to follow these guidelines may lead to disqualification.
- Applicants should submit only one application form. Special care must be taken while entering the mobile number and email ID, as one mobile number and one email address can be used for only one application.
- Candidates are advised to check all details thoroughly before final submission to avoid errors during the registration process.
