The Indira Gandhi National Open University has extended the last date of the re-registration form submission process for the 2026 academic session. Now, Candidates can do the re-registration process till 31st January 2026 for various UG and PG ODL and online courses. This stand will help students who couldn’t submit the form within the earlier timeline for any reason.
Who Should do IGNOU Re-registration?
Students who are currently studying any programme at IGNOU in ODL or Online mode can do the re-registration process to continue their studies. It is a mandatory process for the existing candidates to go to the next semester or academic year. It must be noted that candidates who didn’t do the re-registration process will not be allowed to go for the next academic semester or year.

- Then click on the ‘re-registration’ option.
- Read the instructions carefully and then authorise it as an agreement.
- Log in to your student account using your enrollment number and password.
- Then fill in your details and select the courses for next semester.
- Upload the required document and pay the re-registration fee.
- Review the form before submitting and take a printout of the form and the fee receipt as well.
