The first shift will take place from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, while the second shift will be held from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
The remaining exam dates are 28th and 29th January and are reserved for paper 2. The second paper will be conducted in a single shift from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM. Candidates appearing for the BArch and B. Planning courses must carefully note the exam and timing details mentioned on their admit card.

Modes of JEE Main 2026 Examination
The JEE Main 2026 exam will be conducted in different modes based on the paper selected:
- Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech): Conducted entirely in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode.
- Paper 2A (B.Arch): Mathematics and Aptitude Test will be in CBT mode, while the Drawing Test will be conducted offline in pen and paper mode on an A4-sized drawing sheet.
- Paper 2B (B.Planning): Mathematics, Aptitude, and Planning-based questions will all be conducted in CBT mode.
