The Department of School Education, Karnataka, has officially declared the Karnataka Teacher Eligibility Test (KARTET) result 2025. Along with the results, the department has also released the final answer key for all subject papers. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now check and download their results from the official website.
KARTET 2025 examination was conducted on 7th December 2024 in two semesters’ sessions. Paper 1 was held from 9:30 AM to 12:00 noon, while Paper 2 took place from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM. The exam was conducted smoothly across various centers in the state with thousands of candidates participating.
This year, the Department of School Education introduced an important change in the eligibility criteria. The B.Ed qualification requirement was removed for paper 1, making it easier for more candidates to apply. Karnataka TET is conducted in two categories:
- Paper 1 is for candidates who wish to teach classes 1 to 5.
- Paper 2 is for candidates aiming to teach classes 6th to 8th.
As per the final answer key, one question from paper 1 has been deleted. In addition, some questions in both papers have been awarded multiple correct answers. The KARTET question paper consisted of multiple-choice questions carrying a total of 150 marks. It is important to note that the KARTET score is valid for a lifetime, which means candidates do not need to appear for the exam once they qualify.
