The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) has officially announced the 2nd PUC (Class 12) Results 2026, recording a strong overall performance this year. Out of 6,32,200 students who appeared for the exams across all streams, 546698 students successfully cleared, taking the overall pass percentage to 86.48%. This reflects a notable jump compared to last year’s 73.45%, when 468439 out of 6,37,805 students passed. Students can now access their results through the official portals karresults.nic.in, kseab.karnataka.gov.in, and via DigiLocker.
Stream-wise results show that the Science stream once again led the chart with a pass rate of 91.69%, followed by Commerce at 88.04%, while the Arts stream recorded 72.86%.
In terms of gender performance, girls continued to outperform boys. Among boys, 278458 students appeared, with 232928 passing, resulting in a pass percentage of 83.65%. On the other hand, 352742 girls appeared, and 313770 cleared the exams, achieving a higher success rate of 88.70%.
Looking at the urban-rural divide, rural students slightly edged ahead with a pass percentage of 87.62% (out of 199548 candidates, 174845 passed), while urban areas recorded 85.95% (with 371853 out of 432652 students passing). Both segments showed clear improvement compared to last year, when urban and rural pass rates stood at 74.55% and 69.33%, respectively.

Karnataka 2nd PUC Results 2026: Re-evaluation and Rechecking
Following the declaration of the Class 12 results, the Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) is expected to open the re-evaluation and rechecking window shortly for students seeking a review of their answer sheets. Detailed guidelines, including the application process and fees, will be released on the official website in the coming days.
In addition, the board will soon announce the supplementary examination schedule for students who were unable to clear one or more subjects. These exams will provide candidates with another opportunity to improve their scores without losing an academic year.
