The wait is finally over for lakhs of students in Madhya Pradesh. The Rajya Shiksha Kendra (RSKMP) officially announced the Class 5 and Class 8 board exam results for 2026 on 25th March 2026 on its official website. Students who appeared for the exams can now check and download their results online.

This year, student performance has been quite impressive. As per official data, 95.14% of students passed in Class 5, while 93.83% students cleared the Class 8 exams. The high pass percentage shows improvement in the state’s education system and better academic performance by students compared to previous years.

The board examinations were conducted in February 2026. Class 5 exams were held from 20th February 2026 to 26th February 2026, while Class 8 exams took place from 20th February 2026 to 28th February 2026. All exams were conducted in a single shift, from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM, at various centers across the state.

Students should note that the online marksheet is provisional. They are advised to keep it safe until they receive the original marksheet from their school.

This year, private schools performed better than government schools, especially in Class 8 results. Students from private institutions recorded higher pass percentages, showing strong academic outcomes.

At the district level, Narsinghpur emerged as one of the top performing districts in Class 8 with a high pass percentage.
