NIOS has released the date sheet for Class 10th and 12th theory examination for the 2026 session. The exams will start from 10th April 2026 and will be conducted at different centres across India. The National Institute of Open Schooling has posted the full schedule on its official website. That has printed all the information about the timing and date of the exams.
Besides this, NIOS class 10th and 12th practical exams are ongoing, and they will end on 1st April 2026. That began from 17th March 2026 at various designated centres of the NIOS institute. The schedule for the theory examination was out on 25th March 2026. That stated that the paper will be conducted in afternoon from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

NIOS has confirmed that because of assembly elections in a few states the datesheet has been changed. Like. Rajasthan, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh. Students who belong to these states are advised to check the date sheet carefully.
