NTA Announces CMAT 2026 Result: Steps to Check & Score Validity

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the results of the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) 2026. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now check their scores on the official website cmat.nta.nic.in by entering their application number and password.

According to official data, a total of 53453 candidates registered for CMAT 2026, out of which 41872 students appeared for the examination. Candidates who have qualified can now apply for MBA, PGDM, and other management programs offered by various institutes across the country using their CMAT scores.

The entrance test was conducted on 25 January 2026, in a single shift through Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. The exam was held across 110 cities at 259 centres nationwide. Since the test took place in one shift only, the scorecard includes both the actual marks obtained and the percentile score.

In its official statement, NTA informed that candidates were given the chance to view their question papers along with recorded responses and raise objections against the provisional answer key from 31 January to 2 February 2026. All challenges submitted online were reviewed by subject experts. The final results were prepared based on the revised answer key and have now been published on the official website.

  • GD/PI Rounds: Shortlisted candidates will be called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds. Final selection is based on CMAT score, academics, and interview performance.

CMAT 2026 Score Validity

The score of the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) 2026 will remain valid for one academic year only. This means the CMAT 2026 score can be used for admission to MBA, PGDM, and other management programs for the 2026-27 academic session.

Candidates must apply to participating institutes within the same admission cycle, as the score will not be carried forward to the next year. After the completion of the 2026-27 admission process, students will need to appear for CMAT again if they wish to apply in the following year.
