Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a post-budget webinar on Education, Skill and University township on 9th March 2026. The event theme is “Sabka-Saath, Sabka Vikas- fulfilling aspirations of people: Education, Skill and University township”. The webinar will be organized by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting in collaboration with department of Higher Education.
The Education, Skill and University township webinar is scheduled on 9th March 2026 from 11:30 AM onwards. The key focus areas for the session are Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, Comic Creation and Economy. The allocation for education in the budget will empower India as a soft power and combine the creativity, culture and technology together for open up new opportunities for the youth in India.
15,000 AVGC Content Creator Labs in schools and 500 in higher education institutions will be set up according to the proposal of the Budget 2026. The Ministry of Finance aims to support and strengthen India’s AVGC ecosystem and content creation field. That is called the Orange Economy by the Government of India. Content creation is the new booming sector around the world and it consists of hidden opportunities.
PM Modi Post-Budget Webinar on Education: Breakdown Session
In the PM Modi Post-Budget webinar on education a scheduled breakdown session is scheduled from 12:20 PM to 01:50 PM. The keynote address will be delivered by Sanjay Jaju, Secretary at Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. He will tell the objectives of the government initiative on content creator labs.
Apart from this, the session also has a panel discussion that is expected to give you insightful thoughts and a holistic overview on orange economy. Dheeraj Sahu, Additional Secretary at the Department of School Education and Literacy, and Ashish Kulkarni, Chairman of FICCI AVGC Forum are expected to be as guest for the group discussion session.
