The Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET) final answer key for papers 1 and 2 is out by the Punjab School Education Board. The answer key was released on 5th April 2026 for the primary level and upper primary level teacher eligibility test. The exam was held on 15th March 2026 for the aspiring government teachers for the Punjab school from class 1 to 8th.
The final answer key is released after solving all the issues that were raised in the provisional answer key. Now, candidates can check their answer key and calculate their marks. They can also estimate their qualifying marks before the official status which is expected to be released in mid-April. The board will also be awarded with a PSTET certificate to all the qualified candidates that will be valid for 7 years.

PSTET 2026: Marking Scheme
Each paper consists of 150 questions in which you will be awarded 1 mark for each correct answer and there will be no negative marking as well. The exam is divided into 2 parts: Paper 1 and Paper 2. While paper 1 will determine the teacher’s qualification for classes 1 to 5 and paper is for classes 6 to 8.
The marking criteria are different for different categories like for UR/EWS Category: 60% and OBC/SC/ST: 55%. Participants can check the final answer key and estimate their marks according to their category. It is expected that the board will release the names of shortlisted candidates soon for the PSTET certificate.
