The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the answer key for junior Engineer post under CEN No. 05/2025. Candidates who have given the examination for this post can check the answer key on the official website of RRB. The board has also opened the objection window till 11th March 2025 to challenge any question from the provisional answer key.

There is a 50 Rs charge to challenge a question from the answer key for the participating candidates. The board has clarified that if any challenged question is found wrong in the answer key then the board will refund the charges. Therefore, candidates can freely visit the official website of RRB to challenge any wrongly answered questions. 

The board will release a final answer key after reviewing all the challenged questions. It is also stated in the notice that once the final answer key is released, no subsequent concerns will be entertained regarding answers from the candidates. Visit the official website of RRB to download and check the provisional answer key in a PDF format.

Candidates will be awarded with 1 mark for each correct answer and ⅓ is the negative marking for each incorrect answer. The exam was conducted in CBT (Computer-based Test) mode from 19th February to 20th February 2025. It was the competitive exam for RRB JE recruitment for different departments of the Railways in India.

Participants can follow the given steps to download the RRB JR 2026 answer key. For that, you will need a laptop or PC with a stable internet connection and the process is:

  • Visit the official website of RRB.
  • Then click on the ‘RRB JE answer key’ link from the homepage.
  • Enter your registration number, password and DOB.
  • Tap on the ‘login’ button to move forward.
  • Now, the answer key will appear for download.
  • You can save the key in softcopy or can also take a printout of it.

RRB has conducted this exam for 2,585 posts in the railways in the fields of civil engineering, mechanical engineering and electrical engineering. Candidates who have cleared the RRB JE CBT 1 exam will move to the CBT 2 stage in the selection process.
